Mr. Gönenç Gürkaynak, Founding Partner and head of ELIG Gürkaynak's competition law and regulatory team, spoke at a panel entitled “Mega Mergers and Developing Countries” at the Concurrences Antitrust in Developing and Emerging Economies: Coping with Nationalism, Building Inclusive Growth Conference held at New York University School of Law on Friday, October 26, 2018.

The panel moderator was Prof. Harry First (New York University School of Law) and the other panelists included Prof. Ionnais Lianos (University College London), Mr. Tembinkosi Bonakele (Commissioner, South Africa Competition Commission, Pretoria), Mr. Lawson Hunter (Senior Counsel, Stikeman Elliot, Toronto) and Mr. Nicolas Levy (Partner, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, London).
